Steve graciously took on the challenge of moving my blog to a less onerous address.

So April Reign now resides at http://aprilreign.breadnroses.ca/

he also put in a redirect so old links will still work.

I want one and all to know right now that I am in love with Debra's penguin icon.

I want to take it away to some desert isle where we can drink Piña Colada (Piñas Colada  ) where we can do delightful things to  each other with feathers!

Ah ... when I right-click, fyrnova, it tells me something about the KGB.

Before I did that, I was going to say that it looked sort of Celtic, which would be nice.  :)

Really?  Naturally, I thought Debra's penguin was canoodling with Radiorahim and the Linux gang. I know, I know...I was shocked too. You can imagine how devastating this was to Suse. :ducking

I thought it looked like a police badge, but I got the same 'kgbsomething.png'  too.

Actually, I was thinking it looked like a really, really stylized vulva. :)

It's the sword and shield symbol of the KGB, but yeah, it looks sorta vulva-ish too. I wonder if the KGB realized that.

fern hill is not my real name, but fyrnova hyllovich. . . Oh, wrong thread.

My beloved husband was once introduced, at a cocktail (you should excuse the expression) party, to the wife of some senior exec at the CIBC, and decided to chat her up by asking whether she had ever noticed that the bank's logo managed to combine the classic symbols for both the male and the female bodily parts, in happy union.

I believe that conversation ended fairly abruptly.

The National Bank's symbol resembles a classic :redflag:
" Eure \'Ordnung\' ist auf Sand gebaut. Die Revolution wird sich morgen schon \'rasselnd wieder in die Höhe richten\' und zu eurem Schrecken mit Posaunenklang verkünden: \'Ich war, ich bin, ich werde sein!\' "
