But, to cite the lame excuse, I really needed it, and I did not cycle home half-tanked.

As ferm says, as long as you didn't pose a risk to others, it really isn't such a big thing. .

glad you were not half-nekkid nor half-tanked when biking--that would have been driving under the influence or reckless endangerment of others--then you might have needed a lawyer

Has anybody around here been bumped by a car or anything?  I think belva really needs an ambulance to chase.

I have a lot of cat scratches on my upper thighs and shoulders and forearms.

Doctors always interrogate me about those scratches; I guess they feel duty-bound. The scratches on my forearms seem to amuse lawyers; they all start joking about the divorce settlements they could get for me.

It's all fun and games and cheap talk until they get a look at the pre-nup your cats got you to sign.

Here I am again, posting under the influence of a good night's sleep.  This seems like gibberish.  I looked for last night's thread but it's gone.  Maybe I dreamed the whole thing.  There are a few members of this board who are special, especially special.  I don't want to point the fingers at anyone.  So I'll try not to say Lagatta, Skdadl, and the other guy whose name I didn't chance.  I have a message:  Thank you.

I think I found the deleted thread.  It's been moved to "Activism" and it's started by BlueGrey.  Join me there, if you're into it.

Yeah, I meant to do that.  But a guardian angel did it for me instead.  Look around for guardian angels.  They are everywhere.  I'm guessing this particular one is called Debra.  But that's only my opinion.

Acovado peels.  Is there anything more unhiodegrable in the vegetalbe realm than those damned things?  They are like shoe leather.  5 years later, everything at the bottom of the compost bin has become a delightfully loamy substance.  But not advocao peels.  Nnonono. even eathrworms sneer at them.

Heh heh, I never thought of that before dBO. I wonder if you could make shoes out of those peels. Now that would be environmentally friendly.

I bought some acovados yesterday, but they are still too hard to eat. The entire bin of acovados was one green bullet after another -- left me quite annoyed since I wanted to make something with them right away, but they do ripen quickly, so I guess I can wait.
