I never saw Dion when he was a slicked-down rocker, but I heard him several times in his incarnation as a folk singer at Ottawa's old Le Hibou coffeehouse on Sussex.

Fuckity fuck fuck. The one morning that I can spend online reading threads and I even have the time to post this morning, my stupid touch pad goes berserk on me. It clicks everything, and I've spent nearly 20 minutes trying to figure out how to make it stop, and I can't figure it out.   :smash:  Gonna try the old reboot.

Unfortunately, I suspect that Boom Boom and Croghan actually like the negative attention they get when they continue to post information irrelevant to the topic of this thread.  At this point, I don't care anymore.

I apologise for causing offence. I can be a bit of a smarty pants sometimes.

Does it matter whether it's a spaghetti or lasagna noodle?  :panic

It has to be fettucine. Lasagna has too many crests and troughs and therefore will make a poor whip. Spaghetti is too thin. Fettucine is just right.

Speaking of fettucini, is the version by Chef Boyardee still available?  :P

Am I allowed to answer that question or must I drift, too ?

Check out this old Chef Boy-Ar-Dee commercial.

Ah, the 1950s - those were the days!  I actually remember these spaghetti kits. I grew up on Chef Boyardee pizza mixes, by the way - every Saturday night I'd make one.

(remember the expression: "Cooking used to be an art, now it's a Kraft" ?)

Well, if you like pushing women back into the kitchen and persecuting anyone who is at all "different", yeah, then the 1950s were just great.

Yes, I know the 50s were an awful decade in so many ways, no argument there. It's just that I didn't realize precisely how bad they were until later - I was quite young in the 50s, after all.
