Despite official denial, a visit to Falluja's new hospital gives evidence of a dramatic rise in severe or lethal birth defects among babies born in the city:

This is heartbreaking; for the older of us it is eerily like the "collateral damage" of the war in Vietnam and surrounding countries.
Falluja doctors report rise in birth defects
Holy shit, birth defects 13 times higher than in Europe (which includes old industrial regions with high pollution levels).

This looks even worse than Vietnam. I just saw a report on CBC-TV. One child was born with 3 heads. Faces are all messed up. WTF?
