Well, mattt, I think you'll find the answer to that here and here.

In related news, SUZY ALL-CAPS just got nominated in the feminism category. But, but, but, feminists don't speak [s:3hlobvjv]to[/s:3hlobvjv] for HER!

It's riddigulous.  Look how that category is defined:
Quote
Those blogs that are devoted to gender equality, write about women’s issues, or write from a feminist perspective are eligible for this category.

I suggested that sda, FFOF, crux, and others of that ilk be considered in a sub-category since they so proudly claim to live a life unfettered by whatever, thanks to the gains that feminism has advanced and yet they luxuriate in crapping all over feminism almost on a daily basis.

The best ANTI-feminist blog award.

That post was deleted of course.

Okay now that is more than ridic, that is oxymoronic, I'd boycott for sure, let HER stand alone.

For starters, none of those anti-feminist bloggers write about gender equality, women's issues or from a feminist perspective.  Blob Blogging Wingnut writes over and over and over again about criminalizing abortion from a fundamentalist Catholic perspective, hostie!!

I trust that the CBA cttee will reject those nominations.

Some-people-are-more-equal-than-others types behind blogs such as SDA, Blazing Cat Fur and Five Feet of Fury don't fit any definition of feminist. If you want to start a category for best ''Women Bloggers'' -- because, you know, we're like ''women drivers'' -- well, then, I suppose these ladies might qualify. I find their inclusion here by their fans a revealing comment on their true opinion of women's rights. While I appreciate the nomination of Broadsides -- thanks Fern -- I do not, on any level, want to be associated with women who rail against people for their religion, skin colour, sexual orientation or attempt to secure equality for themselves and others.

I just posted this on CBA site. let's see if it gets deleted.
It is when we all play safe that we create a world of utmost insecurity. It is when we all play safe that fatality will lead us to our doom. It is in the "dark shade of courage" alone that the spell can be broken.

You're welcome, Antonia.

When I saw what a circus it was becoming, I thought about un-nominating both you and Anti-Choice is Anti-Awesome. But it's better this way.

And maybe they'll come to their senses.

Of course it will. It says very clearly on the front page that those threads are for nominations only and additional comments will be deleted. So to keep putting comments in there and waiting to see what happens seems a little futile.

If I understand Saskboy correctly, there is some third party who will review the nominations before the actual voting starts. He should have put that on the front page too. In very large letters.
