stupid royal wedding

I completely missed it - except for that balcony kiss. Dunno if that was before, during, or after the wedding.  :p

I just watched the last 45 minutes of it on CBC. Quite impressive - Kate is stunning. William is balding, he has an oval mouth when he smiles - I was thinking he looks a bit like a goldfish. Harry lloked like a doofus, and Charle's wife had on the weirdest hat I've ever seen. But what do I know. :wigout

No BB, Camilla's hat was pretty benign compared to these two

Such an embarrassment. Sara was spared.

Is this Andy Blatchford, wrote the Free Press article, any relation to (everybody's favourite) Christy?

I figure if he is, she would have written about him. But then I think she did mention a nephew several times who was living with her. My guess is, no.

The Twitter war I wasted time on today will undoubtedly go on, but some branches of it are just too silly for me, and I hereby swear off. Well, for a few days, anyway. If anyone sees me arguing with wee men from the Guardian, tell me to knock it off and do something useful. ;)

Antonia, The Hobbit did not take place in Mordor, though it may have been mentioned in passing, I forget.

Couple of things: The Hobbit doesn't include whasisname either, but he's been signed. Orlando Bloom. (I'm not a fan.) So obviously, they're diddling the script. Also, it's a hoax.
