brebis' area is very hilly - making it beautiful but also treacherous in this kind of weather.

No matter where you are, you're either going uphill or downhill, or else you're at the top or bottom of a hill. Think: the opposite of Winnipeg. There's some kind of precipitation falling outside; I think it's a mix of snow, ice and rain.

There's a crow out there who keeps slipping off rooftops and tree branches. Poor bird can't find a place to perch.

I love crows.

We've been hovering around minus 15 all week, dipping lower some nights.  Nice to see out my upstairs windows again, got above minus 10 today -- yippee!!!  Lots and lots of snow.  Lots and lots hanging around.  I'm fekken sick of it already and it's not even December.  I hope I get a windfall and can go someplace warm this winter!!! BRRrrrrrrRRRR!!!

I guess it had to happen. We can has snow! It was light and fluffy when I first noticed; now it's looking a little more pointy.

I wonder if we are having last year's Gulf Stream diversion to the north all over again?  I'ts almost the end of November, no snow here yet, and today's high is +2C. I'll be delighted if I can park the skidoo and snowblower for another winter! :applause

on the flip side the Calgary Dinos and Laval Rouge et Or are playing for the Vanier Cup in Calgary in the middle of a snow storm. The lines on the field have to be swept between plays and the TV feed is fuzzy from the falling snow.

Rouge et Or immediately made it 17 - 0 before the first quarter ended.

Focusing now to Northern Canada, we'll start off with the... well, there's only one thing to say about it. The entire Northern Canada area will either be normal, below normal, or much below normal.  :applause

Snow? Shovel? That's just crazy talk.

Denial ain't just a river, eh?  ;)

Another nice-ish day here.  Minus 4, just a breath of wind.  Gray sky, however. Grey Cup day!

GO RIDERS!!!

Going to a Grey Cup get-together. Any recommendations on what I should bring? (Berlynn and Croghan seem to be our resident experts... hint, hint.)

Similar weather to Regina here. Mild and sunny.
