Strange Noises in the Sky
« on: January 16, 2012, 03:41:24 PM »
So I've seen this news come up here and there and mostly ignored them. Then I see today on HuffPost there is a vid of noises in the Alberta forest.  http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2012/01/16/weird-noise-strange-sound_n_1208717.html

But don't listen to that yet. Because it is eerily similar to the one in Kiev here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcUDYBIrWio&feature=related

Listen to Kiev, then Alberta, are they similar?

One can say it is students trying to start a 'phenomena' they are calling earth is groaning. Maybe. To be sure many people have already put out fake ones, so it is difficult to try to sort it all out. People in the States have put up dozens of vids, some seem very genuine, where they say they can feel vibrations when they touch windowsills etc. Clearly ufo/religious freakazoids are saying all kinds of b.s. about it and one trys to filter that out. Many of the videos sound like a jet, except it never goes away, stays and stays and then just stops suddenly. The Kiev vid sounds like elephants and whales, mechanical ones or maybe mom is just playing a recording while she films outside? We can say it's a Hoax except it's happening all over the world. When you read comments from sane people it becomes apparent not everyone can hear these sounds, I have no idea why.  On Sept. 12/11 it was heard inside a closed dome during a baseball game in Tampa and the hosts are remarking 'what is that?' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEvXII4ntZQ

Freakazoids remind us that is the same day/evening of the Virginia earthquake (I remember typing a post on BnR and felt it and posted that I felt it for about 30 seconds), but none bother to examine times when 'noise' was heard at the game and the time the 'quake' happening' and I'm certainly not going to. NTL, this is a strange and eerie new phenomena, hoax or not, if anything it is very entertaining.  :p

They don't sound that much alike to me. They sound mechanical; maybe pipeline noises in the first one?

The kid told me there was much discussion about noise/vibration in Windsor, since last winter. Then Ward 10 Coun. Al Maghnieh got involved, went to people's houses, heard the noises and said it was time to take it seriously cuz the complaints were really getting bad.  Min. of Environment set up some equip, but the Coun. said that wasn't enuf.

Here's the first vid - (Windsor Star has taken down all of the print stories) Windsor residents set up Facebook account.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cVk0YBjgdvE

http://www.cbc.ca/news/offbeat/story/2011/09/22/windsor-noise-zug.html

Quote
Maghnieh is organizing a public meeting to discuss the phenomenon on Sept. 29 and the seismic data collected by Natural Resources Canada will be presented at the meeting. The councillor is also calling American authorities and representatives from US Steel to attend.
So that was in September, no updates @ CBC.
Well at least the Windsor noise is almost-solved, but not resolved for the residents.

I didn't know where to put this, but I'm suspicious (as usual). Okay so last week 2 typhoon jets broke the sound barrier in the U.K.  http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/apr/12/typhoon-jets-loud-bang-midlands

Well I dunno, 2 typhoon's for 1 wee civilian helicopter? Common sense says nah. Now we have another sonic boom in Tuscon which blew out people's windows, which btw are suppose to be restricted and no cause is given, just well it's an air show.Greta thinks it's okay tho, she's happy cuz she's protected. Duh.
