We had extremely strong rains and very high winds last night, to the extent that it woke me up, and also awoke more than one friend. I live on the top floor of a triplex, so the windows were really rattlling. All sorts of stuff was flying about in the gales, and a port-a-potty installed by some city workers digging up parts of our street fell on its side. Fortunately nobody was inside. They didn't work there at all today.
Oddly, my hands seem chapped, though I certainly haven't been out without gloves, either yesterday or today.
There is another demonstration for the students tomorrow - a "night demonstration" starting at 8:30 pm and a meeting I'm supposed to attend wants to go, but I'm really too tired to do that, after the last one. It was very inspiring, but that deeply damp penetrating cold - above zero, but the kind of chill one gets in Britain and the Netherlands.
