If there were a couple of weeks I'd be happy to send some money. The next few days? Impossible.

Okay, wait one minute here. We need a plan first. What is the money going toward? Can we feasibly raise enough money for the goal as a collective? Cause if we can't, I don't know how useful it would be for a few board individuals to send Debra small amounts of money. It would probably help Debra out personally which I have no problem with. But, what is the goal?

If we want a new server, I suspect a good one would cost at least 2-3 grand, and that may be on the low side. Maybe Steve knows more about the cost of these things. I don't think many of us have a lot of money to spend right away, but maybe we can do this over a few months. We could put aside a small amount of money each month, and add up how much money we manage to save after about six months or so.

I have seen other boards use same, and they run quite effortlessly, so what exactly is the problem?

I was sending something so that Debra can get a new compy so she can administer to the site, as I think the second hand one she was using was irreversibly on the fritz. I thought the server problems were with the hosting company. I didn't know there were any plans to get our own server. :?

Oh well, maybe you gals are right. I thought a server needed to be set up to run the site. I thought that because JF set up his computer as a server to run EM, didn't he?

Okay well, if we just need a good new computer, that would be a lot cheaper. A thousand bucks?

Debra if you are reading this at library sometime and you dont already belong Freecycle Lindsay, get registered and ask for a Desktop.

I mean I usually ask for old pieces of interesting furniture I can refinish to make a buck or two and if I asked for a desktop, well I just dunno.

Anyway, Torontonians, take a look at the recycle there to see if a desktop is being offered. Or join and then place ad.

We'll be bringing you your morning snooker show, direct from Scunthorpe, for the next couple of hours, but we wanted to catch all those working stif ... I mean, people heading back to the office this morning after such a beautiful weekend, to remind you all of this campaign.

Yes, that's right, members: the boss needs to be reconnected, or the show may not be going on all that much longer. Our current goal is about $500, and we'll be back later to report on how much of a draw Goldie Hill has been so far.
