I know there's always more to it than the story tells, but unless he's got some kind of serious mental disorder as a result of this occurrence, I have to ask, Where are the damages?  Sounds more like vengence.  Doesn't sound like the kind of case I'd be likely to take on.

I'm trying to remember someone, a dude I believe, who lived up north, the reason being, he gave a very good account of building up the Western Arctic riding association and winning for the NDP.  Would love to use that anecdote in a speech tonight.  Can anyone fathom who that possibly wiz?

At my old office, I insisted that the paralegals (all female) not use words like "testatrix" or "executrix" when doing documents for me (a lot of that kind of garbage in legalese) ...  I think it was kind of a pain in the ass for them, because (1) it was the way they were used to doing things and (2) the other lawyers insisted on the old fashioned way.


(Doesn't executrix just sound ...  [fill in the blank])

Up until recently, I thought the opening lines to Bob Dylan's "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" were:

When you're lost in the rain and noiresse, and it's Easter time too."

Apparently, noiresse is not a word in French or English, and the words are "in Juarez".  I thought that "noiresse" sounded very poetic.
