I'm confused. What is the suggested donation per annum?

12 people donating 40 dollars a year covers our costs.

It's 40 a month but I think that's in US dollars even though it's a Canadian company but anyway I'll cover the other 60.

Now if anyone can't afford the to do 40 a year then whatever they can afford to give will be gratefully accepted.

I couldn't figure that out, either.

I'm also a fan of the 'from each according to their ability, to each according to their need".  I could throw in more if needed.  Twice as much as last time, if that's what it takes.

I would rather pay smaller amounts more frequently, Debra. Maybe $10 every two months or something. The question on my mind is: do you have to pay a lumpsome amount to the new host before moving or something? I'm not sure if they need a bigger deposit or sign-up fee or something to start with, and then smaller amounts later. So, what is their payment plan like? How much do you need in the short term, and how much in the long term?

I just did a partial payment (half), Debra -- the rest next month.

All they require is one month up front as you prepay each month. There is no signup or set fee.

and 10 bucks every two months would be great.

There's at least two threads on this topic - to avoid confusion, could the financial threads for BnR be consolidated into one thread?

I thought it would be too confusing to merge the threads so I created a fundraising forum.

Sorry if you've already mentioned this elsewhere, Debra, but what is the monthly fee?

They said 40 dollars a month. I'm not sure if that is US or Canadian. Although they are a Canadian company they price in US dollars.
