AE, you know Toronto a little. I live near Bathurst and College. When the Jays won the World Serious, I could hear them pour out of the Dome at Bay and the lakeshore. And that was just for the friggin Jays.

My last TO address was Carleton and Homewood. I walked by scalpers almost everyday on the way to the office. I think we lived on Indian Road Crescent the last time the leafs won the cup. :)

I live at Yonge and Eg when the Men won the Gold Medal and talk about a party! Horns, flags, cars full of screaming kids and streakers! Toronto doens't riot when we win...I think that's Montreal. ;)

Holy crap. Did you see that second Calgary goal? Supposedly short-handed. Ha, not only too many men on the ice, officially three forwards got points. Short-handed? Three forwards?

I dunno about that stuff Fern. But you will be happy to know this. During the freakish storm here I went out to the marina to help a lone woman get her boat under control. Moored. The only flag she had in the wind, up top, was a Toronto Maple Leafs flag. Actually that was why I went to help her.

Harumph. Leaf fans are tough. Forty years of disappointment and still and still. . . . . But good on ya for helping, Toe.

Okey dokey then. I am so happy for him. Really. Promise. But I don't gt it, watching Power of the Sith at the moment, while waiting for something else.

I'm with Debra and the other die-hards.  It is different this year.  New coaching seems to have brought new life to these boys.

Go Leafs! & :congrats: Mats!  :hockey:
