What's paler than pale pink?  Cuz that's the Kolour the Komen Run for the Kure now is.

More about Komen and breast cancer and science and the pros and cons of screening:

Quote
...By implying that the solution to breast cancer is screening, Komen distracts attention from the real problem, which is that way too many women (and men) are still dying of breast cancer, and screening is not saving them.  We still can’t prevent breast cancer, because  we don’t know what causes it  ...

"We must move breast cancer advocacy to the next level, beyond screening for cancers that are already there, even beyond the cure, to finding the cause. That is true prevention."
Which is one reason why we need a Green Ribbon Campaign. The giant agri-business contributes to sensitive sex reproduction tissue, including our boobs.

Yep, and guys' prostates. And guys' boobs, come to think of it, with the estrogen-mimicking chemicals. At least we could get beyond pink and blue cancer drives...

Aside from pink for boob cancer, we have to get really tough. When fish and frogs are gender bending and hormone-altering pollutants have affected more than 200 animal species, and it's reached menz testes and women's boobs, it's pretty fucked up. It's crucial we have a rallying cry, industrialism has made our earth, its creatures and ourselves toxic; ecological resilience is burnt out.
