The Militarization of Canada: Canadian Invasion Exercise

I expected this in Vive le Canada, since they are right on top of any sort of U.S./Can. integration, so was surprised not to.

The following Canadian Press report points to the integration of the US and Canadian military, where Canadian forces are being deployed in a training exercise inside US territorial waters  in close collaboration with the US Marine Corps.

Wow storming the beaches of N. Carolina next week.

It does seem like a useless exercise. Why would Canada of all places try to 'storm the beaches' of a rogue state? I think someone is trying to knock us out of peacekeeping altogether, and make us more like those idiots to the south of us.  :(

Peter MacKay - Polls are for Dogs (and that he considers 9/11 an attack on Canada :o ) that's how corrupt he is. It looks like we're going to have a war economy as predicted.

Leon Panetta - We Cannot Fight War by Polls (IOW's we don't give a shit what the taxpayers say)

Those are two statements made among the Defense Ministers today. (or wait Tues.)

I think we should take this as a personal challenge. It's time to march/protest, everybody, and let's do it naked.

Global domination? Whoa, Canada!Could we handle a muscular new version of our quiet northern neighbors? For that matter, could they?
