Could also be filed under No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

Yesterday the kids friends dog followed them home from tobaggoning.

So I let the dog in and phoned the owner. She said could I keep him a few minutes....fine.

Well a few minutes turned into 2 and half hours.

During which time he ate a scarf a skipping rope and generally caused havoc.

Cats unimpressed.

So 12:30 go up to bed, Mike lies down and quickly jumps back up.

Dog has pissed on the bed, through both blankets through the sheet mattress soaked.

So we are no forced to turn over king size mattress, get a new sheet and try the only blankets were the lap blankets from the couch.

ON THE COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR!!!!

And now my morning has been spent washing bedding and my dryer is on the bum so Mike now has to lug everything to the laundry mat.

IT"S NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I run into technical problems I can't solve, even very little ones, I turn into a tantrum-throwing spoiled faux-fragile brat like Barbara Amiel, and I *blank* Barbara Amiel.

It's not fair!

I still want my mama.

These four guys from the Grope and Flail have done this complaints-choir number. They're actually not bad, although the song isn't as complaint-rich as some of the classics of the genre. And I don't of course agree with them much. But they're cute.

I don't know who any of them is -- does anyone? Antonia? Recognize?
