Holy mother of gawd, what is that THING on the table where it is written I Blame Patriarchy! Is it a stuffed organ of some kind? A stuffed bratwurst? WTF is it?

That appears at first glance to be schnitzel.  It used to be a taco.  I am a Twisty regular and occasional troll.

That doesn't look like any schnitzel I've ever seen. I think that Twisty is Lizzie Borden.

Hmmm... yes, I wondered about that, with my head tilting from side to side.  Then I started to have scary thoughts of infectious diseases, so let it be.

Skdadl, is this Lizzie Borden of whom you speak someone of note?

I used to read her all the time, but haven't for ages.  I'm visiting the house where my old computer lives, so have been meandering through my old bookmarks.  Totally forgot about old Twisty.  Must get back into the habit again.

Edited for idiocy.

blink.  Eugene changed, that is, corrected the name of his blog.  It was called until just recently LE REVUE GAUCHE.  It's now called LA REVUE GAUCHE.

I guess that would mean that I have to stop boycotting it now.

Section 15 has launched. There's a blog, but really that's only a small part of the site. Looks interesting.

I don't know if Stageleft originally coined this expression for this particular axis of evil    but I found it amusing.

The Frother and the Wholly Grossed, both highly selective seekers of truth, cherrypicked exactly the same three paragraphs from a Toronto Sun story. Here’s their carefully edited selection:

“”Hundreds of GTA Muslim men in polygamous marriages — some with a harem of wives — are receiving welfare and social benefits for each of their spouses, thanks to the city and province, Muslim leaders say. ...

I wanted to point y'all to a really great post written by a friend of mine who's just started blogging. She's very honest and while her and I are not always 100% on the same page, I really admire the honesty in her writing, especially the bravery of writing from a personal space.

That is very powerful testimony, kuri. She put me right in that room with her. You can't doubt the fear and confusion she must have felt. I'm so glad she has written this out.
