I SO admire Robert Fisks writing.  And it sounds as if he had an absolute ball trying to track down the forger.

Oh indeed Anne, I was soo envious of his wee adventure. I loved the conversation with the book shop owner and Fisk near the end.

Yes, I loved that too. But didn't have anything to add.

Have sent it to a friend here of Egyptian origin.

It is odd how many papers send people with no grasp of Arabic language and culture to cover the Middle East and North Africa... I wonder what Fisk things, reading them.
