(I have to go away and do some coding now.)

OK, I just shared that with almost everyone I know.

skdadl - did you try to print off some deep Free Dominiin thoughts?

  Marcus is hilarious.

Strange thing, though. I actually did go over to FD sometime in the last week -- first time in months -- and I left a strictly practical, helpful comment for someone ... and now I can't for the life of me remember what that was all about.

WTF is up with the turtle?  That is positively freakish.

Attack turtle.  Obsessed attack turtle.  That poor cat needs a restraining order.

But there are two cats. Until I saw the second cat, I wasn't sure what the tortoise was doing -- maybe making friends? -- but when he went after the second one, the white one (right at the end), I figured it was true: tortoise is protecting territory, driving off cats.

Some tortoise, I'd say. I love cats, but I really like tortoises too.

Wonderful vid skdadl, thanks, amazing really. Who knew a tortoise had such good eyesight. Very obviously protecting and enjoying have a playmate! For a few seconds that turtle had its mouth wide open ready to get a mouthful of hair, fearless. The owner saying "shhh" was ridiggulous, as if s/he had anything to say about it.

Does anyone else want to pronounce "crochety" as "crochet-y"?

One would know how to pronounce "cro-shay-ing," but one would not know how to pronounce "cro-shay-y."

Think "croshayer".  Now the object of croshaying is the "croshayee."

So when are you writing your next blogpost, Mandos? I have written at least three in my head this weekend, none, unfortunately, published as yet, perhaps never to be ... Life, eh?
