Isn't Stevie sending the GG elsewhere for Canada Day this year? I read that somewhere.
Indeed.  Just Another Willy Loman blogged about that, here: GG MEPPED out for Canada Day

MEP are Message Event Proposals and there's been a few journalists who have recently exposed the depths to which Stevie and his bullies will go to control "the message".

Finley, on Harper's behalf,  is having a tantrum again. Tories threaten fall election after contentious   measures stripped from budget bill

Ya know, if it's not over this particular issue, I'm sure they have a few others in their back pockets they can call an election on, cuz we know they are going to call one fer sure.

Now Harper says we can't afford an election, the economy is where it's at, whereas before it was because Canadians didn't want one. Is he fickle or what? But wait......Canadians Do Want an Election, soon

From the FB group:

A message to the   Liberals.  If your party is not ready for an election, please move over   and endorse one of the other opposition parties.  CRAP   (Conservative/Reform/Alliance Party) have done enough damage and   continue to sell out our country to the USA.  We're sick to death of   your endorsements of CRAP

And so it goes.....

As it happens, however, an alternative has emerged that has found significant support in all three parties. It is to forge a purely temporary alliance, a one-time electoral pact. Party riding associations would agree to run a single candidate against the Conservatives, on a platform with essentially one plank: electoral reform. Were they to win they would govern just long enough to reform the electoral system, then dissolve Parliament and call fresh elections.http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2013/01/25/andrew-coyne-no-opposition-party-is-going-to-beat-the-tories-until-they-united-behind-electoral-reform/

If Liberal and NDP leaders aren't pressured to co-operate they'll enable another Harper majority.Dobbins  /http://thetyee.ca/Opinion/2013/01/28/Canada-Democracy-Coalition/index.html#comment-273950

The comments drive me nuts, blame blame blame, no one can be constructive and 2015 will come up fast.
