Changing the title
« on: October 27, 2008, 09:09:42 PM »
Let's shake things up.

This forum has gotten a little stale for various reasons, but one of them, I suspect, is that it is called "Men's Health", which is a rather narrow topic especially given our population makeup.  Also, it is wince-worthily similar to a popular chain of corporate franchise magazines.

There is some value to having a forum like this, even if it is rarely used.  But I suggest it needs to be "relaunched" or "rebranded".  I would call it "Men and Masculinity" but that sounds awfully schlocky.  Personally, I prefer "Men as such" or "Human males", largely in contrast to the social background in which Man is the human archetype---and therefore difficult to discuss as an object in Himself.

Any other suggestions?

Well I was originally going to call it The Men's Room.  :D

If you meant that as a reference to the Marilyn French feminist novel    But even if you didn't   anyway.
