Facebook is farked too. I am starting to get paranoid.
It is when we all play safe that we create a world of utmost insecurity. It is when we all play safe that fatality will lead us to our doom. It is in the "dark shade of courage" alone that the spell can be broken.

That link crashed my IE; here's a news item.

Popular social-networking site Facebook was hit with a DoS (denial-of-service) attack Thursday, but the attack did not appear to be as severe as one that crippled Twitter the same day.

Facebook reported on its own Facebook profile Thursday that users may have had trouble accessing the site or its services because of the attack, but that the situation seemed well in hand by late morning in California, where the company is located.

Tr.im has seen the price of success and wants no part of it. The well-known URL shortening service, which takes long URLs and turns them into brief ones, has seen usage skyrocket, but says it was unable to find a means of turning that into revenue or finding a buyer for the site at even a nominal price. The company notes on its home page that old redirects will continue to work until at least 31-December-2009.

Cool pic, debra!  I have a question - how do I find out ppl's twitter names.  Is there a list of bnr members somewhere here?  Do I simply search within twitter? I shudder at the thought of trying to navigate a forum search.

there isn't anything that I know of. I or you, could start a thread under Social Networks and ask if people want to leave their twitter handles.
