Calgary Glenmore by-election
« on: September 14, 2009, 11:11:28 PM »
Calgary Glenmore by-election; I found a website with unofficial results; and it looks very much like Paul Hinman of the Wildrose Alliance will win, with Liberal Avalon Roberts coming second and PC Diane Colley-Urquhart third.  Interesting that WRA can get an urban seat, which will scare the Tories badly; hopefully they might see the Liberal showing as leftwing leaning.  But WRA will be exulting all over the blogs I bet.  Just what we need, another rightwingnutbar party born in Alberta. :?

But the voter turnout?  OMG, it was barely 40%!
