Falluja birth defects
« on: March 04, 2010, 06:09:59 AM »
Despite official denial, a visit to Falluja's new hospital gives evidence of a dramatic rise in severe or lethal birth defects among babies born in the city: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8548961.stm  This is heartbreaking; for the older of us it is eerily like the "collateral damage" of the war in Vietnam and surrounding countries.Falluja doctors report rise in birth defects Holy shit, birth defects 13 times higher than in Europe (which includes old industrial regions with high pollution levels).

This looks even worse than Vietnam. I just saw a report on CBC-TV. One child was born with 3 heads. Faces are all messed up. WTF?
It is when we all play safe that we create a world of utmost insecurity. It is when we all play safe that fatality will lead us to our doom. It is in the "dark shade of courage" alone that the spell can be broken.
