Well, I don't know for sure what's going on there, but it looks to me as though the G&M did the sensible thing, given that we're talking about the Asia Times online. A number of Asian publications, online and dead-tree, do odd cut-and-paste things with information they find anywhere -- for all we know, they've republished some of people's comments here as part of news stories. They plagiarize a lot too.

ETA: The same thing may happen with some publications anywhere, not just Asian, but it's very common where there's a language barrier and people are just trying to get something, anything out.

Cathie from Canada agrees with Dave's blogpost at TGB and adds relevant information in support of this perspective.

at Bene Diction Blogs On - read his post about a blogger mom shamed by pastor for daring to challenge the adults who bullied her son.

Here, BTW, is the Mom's blog.  And I corrected the link to BDBO.

BDBO is, quietly, one of the best blogs on the internet .... in a computer change I lost my very obvious link to it - you have reminded me now and it shall return to it's place of honour.

thx dBO.  :wave

I read mom's blog about her boy wanting to go as Daphne from Scooby Doo (she even posted an adorable photo of her son in costume). I can't believe that she is still being bullied by her peers and her PASTOR?!?!

I hope she considers finding another congregation that is more open-minded and compassionate. If moms A, B and C are part of the same congregation led by Pastor Fink, there would have to be other very compelling reasons to remain with that group if it were me.

At this point, Alison could post a pea soup recipe and I'd still put it here just to say YAY!. Creekside: Homeland perimeter security blanket.

She's referring to Alison's new post at Creekside, linked below.
