Good thought. Me too.
It is when we all play safe that we create a world of utmost insecurity. It is when we all play safe that fatality will lead us to our doom. It is in the "dark shade of courage" alone that the spell can be broken.

The wound specialist was here today and I am almost completely healed, there is almost no depth, length is 5.5cms and gap is .5cms.  :bunny

I see the doc on wed.

What a long haul it has been for you. So glad the wound is so close to being completely healed.  :hug

Great news, Debra. As sparqui says, a long haul indeed, and it must still be so frustrating.  :hug

I'm so relieved to hear that. I was wondering about that when you posted your December intro, but didn't feel like prying. At least you will be able to relax and enjoy the year's end holiday period (aka Solstice) to some extent.

Saw the doc this morning. She took a swab as I have possibly another infection in the wound.  cut out a couple of the under stitches that might be keeping the wound from healing. Also had to go for blood work as she thinks something might be up below the surface and so I have to go for both ultrasound and ct scan  and worst case senario have the surgery all over again.  So not feeling very up at the moment.

Oh FFS. At this stage of the game you may have an infection?  :hug

That's awful news, Debra. So very sorry that you are experiencing so many serious setbacks in your recovery. Hopefully, no further surgery is required.  :hug

Och, I'm sorry to read that, Debra. I hope all this is going to be done quickly? How long is it taking to set up appointments?

Thanks everyone.  :hug

@skdadl I had to take the bus to go get bloodwork straight from her office because the ct requires it and she wants me in right away. So I'm guessing maybe next week if she can swing it.
