No worries, Antonia - too far away to help out and out of internetz range all day.
Very relieved to come home to discover you kind and loving geniuses figured it all out.  Brilliant work all round. Bless you all.

E'd Pogge late last night; he said he would be seeing Skdadl this evening.

ETA : Arghh - never remember the 3hr time diff in posting ... "last night" as in Tuesday night, Pogge seeing Skdadl Wed night.
Pogge spoke to skdadl on the phone Wed. night and let her know. Skdadl very sad to hear. But by then I was at least able to relay that Queenie had been located and would be taken care of.

Mandos, I got to meet Crogh this past May in Ottawa. I wish you had been there as well - he spoke and wrote so fondly of you. He thought you were the most interesting person in the world.  :hug
I was amazed that a far-flung group was able to locate and rehome a puir kitty within a single day. I'd like to believe that Crogh was directing the operations, or at least putting out some energy so that Queenie wouldn't be forgotten. She still has some stress to endure, but we'll certainly be looking forward to hear how it all goes.
mattt - you are the best.

I have to admit that, in a way, this whole thing is cracking me up, in a good way.

I got to find out everybody's real names, attach faces to most of you, and feel good about what we did.

Of course I got no work done.

There's a fun tribute.  Every July 26, all posts must be in a variety of of sizes and colours and must include at least one  :bunny smiley.

Sadly, I cannot.  My inbox is empty but my account is one of the victims of the multiple board moves and upgrades.  No amount of purging will fix it.  You'll have to email me at

That's really the only way to get to me.

Er, but could you edit your message to remove the reference to my RL email?  Thx.

ETA: Thx Toe. It's not that I am THAT paranoid but I do like to keep personae separate from Google---it's not like it's that hard to figure me out since I've been on the interwebs as Mandos for a long long time.

He would write long circuitous comments that you had to read carefully and think about whether he was gently disagreeing with you completely or just in part.

He was a generous soul.

I was so incredibly sad to hear of Croghie's passing. He was a kind and generous soul with nothing but good in his heart. I wish I could write something here that would do him justice.
