Anyone here seen Everything Is Illuminated?

If not: go rent it, I beseech you. It's truly wonderful.

This is one I regret not having seen on the big screen, for reasons that will become evident as you watch it.

I'd even listen to the soundtrack, which is rare. In fact I'm going to go look for it.

I've started watching old episodes of The Wonder Years that are being rerun on tvtropolis. I never watched this show when it originally aired (1988-1993). I saw a few episodes in reruns during the mid to late 90s, before it went off the air. Now that it's back on the air in Canada, I'm trying to watch all the episodes in order.

What a great show it was. Unfortunately, I've already seen the final episode, and it's a toal bummer that Kevin and Winnie don't wind up together. :(

Not only did I watch it when it first aired, I have the 5 cd set of music from The Wonder Years. It's quite good.

Boom Boom, The soundtrack to The Wonder Years is missing many of the key songs from the show. Most dissapointingly, it doesn't have "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge. I can't hear that song without conjuring up the image of Kevin and Winnie's kiss from the pilot episode.

Mrs. M. and I have become quite addicted to watching Teen Titans.  It's kind of like a hybrid of traditional "superhero" cartoons, cut from DC Comics cloth, but with a huge anime influence.  That, and we're trying to catch up on all the Scrubs we missed when we didn't know how funny it is.

That's true. But it's got some other stuff, and overall it's a good compilation.

Im hooked on watched season 1
When you're on your own
When you're at a fork in the road
You don't know which way to go
There's too many signs and arrows
You haven't laughed in a while
When you can't even fake a smile
When you feel ashamed...
The uniform don't make you brave

Tonight (Monday) on Global I'll be watching "The Women of SNL" including Tina Fey's hilarious send-up of Sarah Palin. :))

The Peter Paul and Mary special on PBS - Mary Travers died in 2009, so obviously they used video and film clips of the whole group, with Peter and Paul on hand with the host. It's a fund - raiser, with a lot of really, really good music. I played it from my television through my very power stereo system. Fantastic experience to see and hear the group through a powerful stereo and great speakers.

God, I miss these guys so much. Somehow, I missed this album  (2004), which is next on my shopping list:
